Includes two complimentary tickets for fly fishing in local trout water. A very spacious village cottage, originally built about 40 years ago, refurbished and substantially extended this year. The cottage has a lovely garden, with excellent mountain views, especially from the conservatory, and gas cental heating. It is a short walk from the start of the footpaths to the fells and about 10 minutes walk to the lake. All the village shops & pubs are just a short level walk away.

The lush wooded valley floor, ablaze with petite Lakeland daffodils in the Spring,is home to a variety of wildlife including red squirrels and wild deer. Overhead soaring buzzards and ravens are just two of the many species which make this a bird watchers paradise. Across the part cobbled courtyard, there is a delightful cottage garden, and the owner's land includes a section of the river Duddon, famous for its Salmon and Sea Trout.
